The Highline road goes between D'Arcy and Seton Portage on the north side of Anderson Lake. It is a maintained dirt road. The scenery is quite spectacular and I do recommend riding it if you get a chance.
Now to the dark history of the area around the road. During World War II, some Canadian citizens of Japanese descent were interned in the area. They were interned around McGillivray Falls to be exact. You might be able to find one of the huts they lived in during this dark time of our history. During his trip I did not see any cabins but on a previous trip on the road, I did find one off the side of the road and have photographs of it. When I find them, I'll post the picture.
