A Hobby Site By An Over-The-Hill Average Mountain Biker
This started off with early morning phone calls. What you doing today? No plans. Let's go do something up in Squamish. Ok.
This ended up being an epic ride of around 65+ km. I actually collapsed from a calf spasm on a single lane bridge while cars are trying to cross it near the end of the ride. A driver got out of his car and helped me off the bridge and was nice enough to tend to me until the spasm subsided.
It was my first time up to this lake. I really liked crossing the steel pedestrian bridge and swimming in the lake. BC has some well hidden gems.
