REVIEW

Made in the Shade is a lot of fun. It has switchbacks, drops and log crossings but the thing that caught my eye the most on this trail is the fencing. Whenever I am watching a skiing event and I see the orange mesh along the course it reminds me of Made in the Shade. This safety feature is there for a reason, if by chance you bail and fall on the wrong side of the trail you're in for quite a tumble downhill. I've seen one guy's ass saved by it. The trail does have its fair share of exposed roots which will make for a slippery ride when wet. Sorry but no pictures. Each time I've ridden the trail I did bring a camera but was having too much fun riding the trail that I just didn't want to stop and snap away.
