The view on the trail today was fantastic. Such a clear day, I could see the mountains on Vancouver Island.

REVIEW

Original review was about riding the Harper Road Access up to the ski area.

The Old Ski Area Road begins on Harper and is used to access just about every trail on Burke Mt. The road is not technical but does have a few steep sections on loose ground, making for a challenging climb. Once you get to the South Slope the road becomes more level with only a mild grade. The road eventually reaches the old ski area and you've only spent about an hour getting there. On a comparison note, this access road is easier to climb than Old Buck (Seymour), Fromme Mt. Service Road, and Lung Buster (Eagle Ridge) and definitely easier than the Blue Mt. Forestry Service Road.
