REVIEW

Finally rode down this trail, ok only rode about 90% of it. Some of the features are beyond my balls level. Took quite some time to ride and photograph.

I'm really impressed with the work on the trail. Definitely a trail to session with friends.

REVIEW

Keeping the review below even though it is in reverse. These photos have been removed as they were a bit out of focus.

I hiked up this trail from its exit to its entrance. It was quite the hike, as I did not realize how long this trail is.

The bottom quarter of the trail was not in the greatest shape after the heavy rainfall. It was rutty and had a few really wet spots with the occasional largish puddle. I thought to myself what have I gotten myself into if the rest of the trail was like this. Came across the last man made structure on the trail (remember I'm going up the trail) and it was an a-frame and in I probably have a go at. I tend to get a bit loopy after a long ride and will ride things that I probably shouldn't. After this the trail is a bit loamy and then onto a plank section. The singletrack is quite nice in this section with a few structures traversing small streams.

Next up is a section of trail with that looks like it might have been an old skidder road. Here is a small jump with an A-Frame next to it. The trail gets wet after this and best not ridden after a rainfall. A couple of jumps, followed by a couple of planks. Then comes an A-Frame with a bit of a gap at its apex, not for me. After this the trail is loamy, rooty, and planky.

Then comes the first rockface and I didn't see a ride-around. A lot of work went into this. A ladder bridge leading down to the rockface and then finally a quick ride down the rock. I give it a try but see me landing in the nearby stream. Some really nice singletrack after this before I came across a jump and a-frame sitting next to each other. The second of its kind I came across on the trail. The rock work landing was well done and the a-frame was more fo me.

A few ladder bridges after this and then a ladder bridge with a drop ending, nice work on this structure. Shortly after this is a section that drops into a small depression, followed by really nice singletrack that is a bit rooty another structure with a turn in it. Another drop into what can only be described a deep rut created by a stream during a heavy rainfall.

I thought the trail was over around this point but no, there was more. More really nice singletrack with a few rooty sections thrown in for good measure. A really nice plank and ladder ramp combo after this and really want to give this one a go. It's basically at the edge of my skills of what I'm comfortable in doing. The section after this rooty singletrack and quick steep section down some roots. And finally done after a quick section.

Remember I did this trail in reverse, so read backwards. Will definitely ride this one and review in correct diretion.

This trail is more black diamond and a half but since I do not use that rating, I've given it a double black. Also a lot of work went into the trail and it appears as if the trail builder is up there on a regular basis working on it. Great work and can't wait to see it when it is done.
