REVIEW

I hiked up this trail to get to others and will definitely photograph it in the correct direction.

The work has gone into this trail is impressive and it shows, even with the snow. So here we go in reverse.

A really nice exit and the first structure going uphill is a curved ladder bridge. Well constructed and not a skinny, bonus. Next up is a boulder off to the side of the trail that you can ride down or drop. Great single track before a jump slash drop over a fallen log. Want to give this a go on my bike. A short bit later is a plank bridge over a rough section of trail. A bit of uphill and there is a jump slash ride down a rooty bit. Further up is a dealer's choice structure. Ride the skinner one on the right (facing uphill) or the wider one on the left; seems like a decision during a night out, boom badda bing, don't all leave at once, I'm here all week at the Airport Ramada Lounge and don't forget to tip your server.

Just after the previously mentioned structure is a jump to the side. Then a nice rooty section as part of some work done to fix up a bad section of trail. Another log across the trail jump/drop/ride down, this one is really nice. Then comes one of the highlights of the trail. On the left (looking uphill) is a plank bridge over a small depression in the trail. To the right of it is a gap jump. In my youth I thought I was Evel Knievel and this would have been my Snake River Canyon. I would have attempted it on my hardtail banana seat mustang. No school like the old school. Above this is on the side of the trail is another jump onto a transition area.

As I continue up the trail, I come across another log across the trail made into a jump/drop/ride down. There are a few on this trail and each are quite well done. Looking forward to giving it a go. Up ahead is a bit of roots to ride down. Personally I don't like wet roots, have had some really nasty bails on them. Some more single track on the way up before coming across another launch pad. Above this one is another jump onto a transition area. With all the jumps on this trail, all I can say is, This is ground control to Major Tom.

What I believe to be the last (first if you are going downhill) feature structure on this trail is a long log ride down a massive fallen tree. It appears that some form of grip has been added to the log and am thankful for that. It does have a ride around but am willing to give it a go. Not too high and not too skinny, plus the exit is well constructed.

A quick steep section down some small rocks and roots. Some more well done single track and done.

Looking forward to riding down this trail once the weather changes but will probably hike it again in the downward direction to take more photos and review it again.
