REVIEW

Okay after a summer of riding some of the most challenging and technical trails around this was a great relief and pleasure to ride. It's a double wide, smooth and rolling. Nothing technical or challenging. The view on sections of this trail are just breath taking making for quite the riding experience. It's about a 2 km ride into the lake and the view once you get there is spectacular to say the lest. If it was a warmer day I would went in for a dip.

Two words of caution here though. One, it's used mostly by hikers and campers so be on the lookout for them and don't try to run them over. Second and most importantly, this is bear country. Myself and a rider from another group ran into a mother and her cub (but all of Whistler is bear country), so take precautions and read the Bear encounter section of The Trail Net; it's taken verbatim from a BC Parks pamphlet and it could help you have a good and memorable encounter with a bear.
