REVIEW

This is one of my favorite rides. I like to bike and fish and what better place to get both done at the same time. This old logging road is great. Worn out full of rocks and a few steep sections. You can enter this logging road from the highway and ride to the lake. Don't want to give out too much on this one, but if you ridden the Cheakamus Challenge you know exactly where this lake is.

Starvation Lake access trail is rocky and steep in sections which makes for a fun ride in, but the ride out is more like hikycling in sections. The view of Starvation Lake from the top is spectacular. You get a great view of the Tantalus mountain range but seeing Cloudburst is awe inspiring. Once you get to the lake you're in for a treat. When the weather is nice you can go for a dip in the lake. During a hot spell the lake is bath water warm. Now if fishing is your bag cycle in your gear and catch rainbow trout; note there isn't much room to fly fish from the shore. Make this one into a day trip.
