REVIEW
Decided to try and ride Marvin today. I'm a solid blue and easy black rider. From the pictures I saw of Marvin and its rating I thought I could ride some of the features. I came at it from Mossom Creek west of the trail. After about 30 minutes of pushing my bike uphill I came across an old connector trail and decided I'll take it and see where I end up. I ended up about halfway down Marvin just after the rockface onto plank ramp before the plank bridge over what was once a stream. I hiked up this section and knew it was beyond me. The features on this part of Marvin are a definite hard black. After this the trail is quite nice with a few more features including the ride down the fallen tree.
My first mistake was not getting to the trailhead via the route to Manhandler and second mistake, I was over my head. Can't wait to give it a try soon however I want to session it with like minded riders.
Sorry forgot, the trail is soft and loamy in sections.
A really good addition to Eagle.
Below are the few photos I took of the area that I basically started at.
