REVIEW

Close to 900 photos in this series. It covers approximately 2.5 kilometres.

Rode the Baden Powell from the west to the east. I started just west of the top of the Skid Road (Ascent). The Baden Powell can be cut up into 3 sections. Two of the sections are quite similar. The part between Skid Road (Ascent) to near the exit of Grannies and the part between the entrance of The Skull to the access road. These two sections are sold blacks and not easy blacks. The section between the exit of Grannies and the entrance to The Skull is a solid blue and a pleasure to ride.

REVIEW

This section of the Baden Powell is quite nice and much easier than the eastern end of the trail. Today it was quite dry and smooth. Can't wait for the first heavy rains of autumn to change the dynamic of the trail.

These photos are from the entrance of Boundary to the entrance of Espresso (Lower).

I still don't like to ride or hike this trail after all these years.

REVIEW

The most technical sections of the Baden Powell are near Mountain Hwy. There are some nasty steep sections with stairs and sharp turns. The drops are nothing too spectacular but riding along side an embankment can make you think twice.
