REVIEW

Rode all the way from Burnaby Heights to do CBC. I knew going in that there would be sections that would throw me, once that happens and I can't see a line, I walk. For now I'm okay with this, I know I'll be riding CBC more and each time I'll be able to ride the sections I walked today. Also decided I was not doing any of the double black lines, go figure?

Ok, there has been a lot of work to revitalize CBC. Lot more woodwork and stonework, quite the work. After the last weekend (opening weekend) there were a lot of people riding the trail and the rain. There were a few really muddy sections and one bascially stopped me in my tracks. I was going too slow and my front wheel just sank in and stopped rolling. I was actually surprised at the sections I did ride versus the ones I didn't. I did nearly bail once. My front wheel slide out sideways on a wet and muddy root, however I was able to plant a foot and not come off the bike. This is a really good trail and should be on anyone's to do.

REVIEW

The top two thirds of the trail has seen better days and could use some work. There are lots of stonework on the trail but also lots of loose janky rock & rooty sections.

The bottom third I really like with all the woodwork. This section is really nice to session and practice on.
