I decided to hike this decommissioned trail and photograph it before it is too far gone. Also the photos are only down to just past the Enquist Route. On another day I'll finish photographing the rest of the trail.
On this day the trail was still wet in sections and I went for an ass slide down a steep loamy section when both my feet slipped out from under me. Not injured but ended up a bit wet and muddy. There are quite a few trees down on the trail and the log plank bridge over the swampy ravine has 3 trees down on it. One tree fell diagonally on it and tilting the plank bridge for a bit. I was nervous crossing it and decided to get off of it just before it goes up by finding a spot that was not in the swampy area.
When on this trail, I did feel like I was truly in the wilderness. I saw no one for about an hour and a half. The first people I saw was when I was ascending the CBC. The beauty of the back country is unbelievable but then you notice, no people.
