REVIEW

This old service road is used to access most of the trails in The Woodlot. It starts off the main service road and makes it way through a clear-cut before heading up towards the powerlines. The climb from the clear-cut to the powerlines is a tough one but not lungbusting. A section just before the powerlines is the toughest section with all the loose rocks and old logs across your path. Once you cross the powerlines you are in for a surprise. The old service road would not be considered a climb from this point onward. The first section is still strewn with old planks which made up a skidder road years ago. Once you clear these logs the road becomes hard pack sand. The only tough section is where the road is washed out by a creek. There is a side trail to help you get around this section. The old service road will eventually spit you out onto a active logging road.

The photos are of the jumps on the side of the service road.
