REVIEW

Big Un's starts from the microwave tower. At first it's a challenging ascent up the mountain on some great singletrack. The ride is tough due to the logs and quick little drops you have to clear while all going uphill. Then comes the fun, downhill singletrack that is reminiscent of steep descents on the North Shore. What makes these descents tough are the drops and logs you need to negotiate and remain on the bike. At the bottom of one of these descents you'll find the main feature of the trail, a log ride. This log has a girth about 10-12 feet and is about 50 feet long. It's a nice break from the death grip ride down. After this the trail is some really nice singletrack that winds it's way along a small ridge. To finish things off is a quick little steep descent onto the main road.

Almost forgot the big rock face you can ride down just before the steeps start. That's Justin giving it a go.
