REVIEW

The Buttafuco trail has about 3 entrances but the one I used was quite challenging. It started with a nice steep section with a minor drop on it but it could throw you off. The ride down this entrance was ass off the saddle steep. Next was the ridge drop. This drop runs the entire width of the trail and the trail is quite wide in this section, about 20 feet wide. Other than wheelie dropping it there are two places it can be ridden down on. The one on the right next to the tree was my choice. After you clear this section it's a steep ride down to the intersection. Once you reach the intersection take the left. Buttafuco now is some sweet singletrack that winds it way down McKee Peak with the occasional steep section that gives this trail a black diamond rating. There is some uphill but nothing strenuous. You'll also notice a lot of side trails heading off of Buttafuco, take any because they all generally come back to Buttafuco at some point. Buttafuco has been altered from its original route. The people I was riding with informed me that the trail now goes around the 3 Butts (some pretty nasty steep sections). What a waste but can still be ridden and are now referred to as the Old School section of the trail.
