REVIEW
Okay, I got lost! The map I was using of the area was crap. I ended up about 5 km off the mark when I was riding from the Wedgemount F.S.R. to Green Lake. When I finally decided to retrace my route and head south towards Whistler, I found the correct trail. Trust me, it was an adventure and I hate being lost, alone and no breakie in my tummy. Okay now I'm done with my bitching.
When I finally got to the trail I found it to be a double track. This trail deserves it's rating because it is rocky and steep. The view of Green Lake from the trail is spectacular because the ride is mainly above the lake. When you start this trail from either end you have one hell of a climb ahead of you, but then you get an incredible downhill. I only found a couple of level and dirt sections and in one of these sections is the entrance to the Parkhurst Ghost Town. Because my map had no reference to the ghost town, I never knew it existed and what a shame. Would have liked to explore it.
A thing to remember is that you will be in bear country. I did run into one but it didn't know I was there until I had passed it.
